Storm Rider (Skald Archetype)
Storm riders soar with the sacred power of Ithreian hymns, rallying allies to punish those who have offended their goddess, threatened their homes, or defiled the sanctity of nature.

Raging Songs (Ex): The storm rider has access to the following raging songs.

  • Squall Song (Su): At 6th level, the storm rider can use raging song to send a blast of freezing wind in a line 90 feet long for as long as he continues to perform. He can change the direction whenever he moves more than 5 feet. Creatures in the line are subject to windstorm-force wind and take 1d6 points of cold damage per two skald levels. Each victim can halve the cold damage with a successful Fortitude saving throw. This raging song replaces song of strength.
  • Song of Soaring (Su): At 10th level, the storm rider can use raging song to grant himself and all allies within 60 feet a fly speed (average maneuverability) and swim speed of 30 feet each. This raging song replaces dirge of doom.
  • Tempest Song (Ex): At 14th level, the storm rider can use raging song to call forth a storm, similar to the effects of control winds combined with call lighting storm. This raging song replaces song of the fallen.

Storm Mastery (Ex): At 2nd level, the storm rider is treated as one size cate¬gory larger when determining the effects of high wind and gains resist cold 5. At 7th level, he is treated as two size categories larger and his cold resistance improves to 10. This ability replaces well-versed and the versatile performance gained at 7th level.
